An Afternoon at Grandma’s

Today we had fun visiting Grandma’s house.  Marc’s mom was generous enough to offer one of her spare bedrooms to house our bunkbeds until we are ready to use them again.  (Since Audrey and Grace got their new big bed we had no place for the bunks.)  It works out well since now when the kids go to overnights there, they will have their beds to sleep in and Grandma won’t have to give up her bed or take time blowing up air mattresses.  I suppose it is a win-win.  While Marc was rearranging furniture at his mom’s and putting together the bunk beds, the kids and I were swimming (sorry, no pics).  After a good dunk, we partook of $5 Hot-N-Ready’s from Little Caesar’s.  Yummy!  What a fun afternoon at Grandma’s.

Audrey is now embarrassed for her goofy expression.

  1. Yes, and now my children have a place to sleep when we go there too

  2. Just tell Audrey that she can be glad her goofy expression was only temporary. Unlike some people who look goofy all the time. Fun times! I wish I had lived close enough to my Grandma to have lots of fun with her!
