F.H.E.

*As a side note, I started this post Monday night, but am just now getting around to putting it on the blog.

Well, Marc has decided to ditch us this week and head to beautiful San Diego where he is residing 75 paces from the beach from now until Friday. Yes, he is there for work, but that does not make me any less jealous. Tonight for Family Home Evening, the kids and I decided that we would make a funny little video clip and put it on our blog so Daddy could feel like he wasn’t missing anything (except all the yelling I did when the cameral wasn’t rolling).  Okay, I can’t figure out why the video clip is too big to post, but I thought I would put this post up anyway so you can all feel sorry for me that I have had no husband all week.  Only one more night to go- Yeah!  Here are some pictures of the kids on Easter Sunday.  I have a hard time posting without having a picture because I’m such a visual person and I have such beautiful children!

Crazy Coria Casa

For the past 6 plus weeks, we have been living in a construction zone (again – I think we have done a major project every year since we have lived here). I REALLY hope our next house (whenever that will be) is perfectly move in ready (Ha, Ha). Anyway, to help my sanity, literally, we have had my Dad very busy. He has built a bedroom for Carson, helped us move our washer and dryer to the garage, turned our laundry room into a walk in pantry and will soon turn our old pantry into a pass through to the garage as it was originally meant to be. We will also have him fill in an existing wall in our kitchen and add shelves. Thankfully, our brother-in-law, Jim, is an electrician and helped with all those necessities throughout our project. Marc has put up some more kitchen cabinets and I have painted the new room. We still have a ways to go, but here are some pics of our projects thus far.

The Curious Adventures of Tiss and Tar-Tar: Race Day

The Boys had fun running through the house pushing their trucks and yelling “I won, I won”.

Coria Day

Marc and I had an idea a few years ago that we would have “Coria Day”  every once in a while and take the kids to do something fun.  Well, I think we have only done it once or twice in the last 3 years, so we decided we were way overdue.  Marc had President’s Day off, so we all went to downtown Phoenix and spent time at the Science Center and watched an IMAX movie and saw other exhibits.  It is the first time that Marc came with us there since we got a membership last May.  After that, we walked over to the Arizona Center and ate lunch at Mi Amigo’s.  We took some pictures and enjoyed the cool weather as we walked around downtown and appreciated all the growth that is occurring here in our home state.  My mom and dad were kind enough to offer to watch Sophia for us so that we could all enjoy our day a little more without having to tend to the needs of a baby.  It was just what I needed and I think we all agreed that it was a fun day!  Here are some pictures of the glorious event of “Coria Day”.  Hopefully it won’t be another 3 years before our next one!
